This is the world’s most recorded family debt in history, with interest rates rising quickly. Park Jeong Won has the report.

Nowadays, going to the bank to borrow some money isn’t easy.

“From the government all the way to my personally-owned loan company, along with the advancing Euro, right now most business talks are done with China.”

However, last year’s 2nd quarter showed that Housing loans and seller trial loans have reached nearly 100trillion Won in three months, and has now surpassed 5.964quadrillion Won at this point. One family is 337 billion Won in debt –a word-record high. Bank loan policies are being strengthened, because they’ve already lent out so much money.

The secondary financial institutions are the main sections that are rising in debt. They take the greatest risk in all of this.

Actually, as interest rates rise, the interest on debt rises with it. Housing loans mainly being swallowed, deposits that are brewing, have risen the APR to 5.3%, it’s only been 6 years and 2 months. Highest interest rates on loans are as much as 8%.

Once the burden of the ever growing loans stop, it’ll create a significant challenge to the later recovery for the consumer.

Despite loaning restrictions, whether or not the quickly rising family debt and rising interest rate burden will grab our economy by it’s feet, is something people are worried about.
[/English]
[media=3]
